Miscanthus sacchariflorus
Amur silvergrass (Miscanthus sacchariflorus) is an ornamental grass native to the temperate regions of east Asia. It has an upright, open habit and grows in dense tufts. Its long, delicate blade-like leaves are bright green, giving way to silvery plumes in late summer to early fall. Flower stalks emerge above the foliage that reach up to 4 feet tall. Elegant and easy to care for, this grass does well in well-drained soil in full sun. Bring a touch of Asian elegance to any garden with Amur silvergrass.
