Arctic Stitchwort (Cherleria arctica) is an Arctic-alpine flowering plant from the family Caryophyllaceae. It grows 10-20cm tall and has loosely branching and wiry stems with narrow, bright green, needle-like leaves. Its small, white, five-lobed flowers are found in clusters at the end of its stems and bloom from mid-summer to fall. Arctic Stitchwort is adapted to cooler temperatures, prefers a sandy or turbid soil, and grows naturally in regions such as Greenland, Iceland, and Scandinavia. It is a hardy plant that can withstand heavy frost and snowfall.
