Penstemon 'Sweet Joanne'
Penstemon 'Sweet Joanne' is a beautiful, low-maintenance beardtongue species. Its blooms are an elegant shade of pink-purple, borne on long, slender stems. A clumping, perennial variety, it has striking, serrated leaves and produces tall spikes of hooded, trumpet-like flowers in mid to late summer. The bright-green, evergreen foliage is very attractive, especially when the flowers are in bloom. Hardy and disease-resistant, the 'Sweet Joanne' beardtongue is an excellent choice for any border or wildflower garden.
