It has bright, showy flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and mahogany that are up to 5 inches across. It grows well in full sun and is drought and heat tolerant. It grows to a height of one to three feet tall with a spread of 12 to 24 inches. It produces a pleasant scent and makes an excellent cut flower for arranging. It attracts butterflies, bees, and medicinal uses. It is also deer resistant and highly deer resistant in most areas, making it a great addition to any garden.
